Navy candies 1950s loved butterscotch lifesavers in my childhood, by then they weren't called Navy Scotch

There's not Lifesavers, they're Navy candies - birds of a feather for sure! :) is it just me or do a lot of these ads have a sexual connotation?

When Southbank was just South Melbourne - iconic lolly (sweets, candy) manufacturer now demolished-see pin 'waterfront spectacular' book. Big shopping, entertaining (restaurants, casino etc) precinct.

The famous Allen's sign on the south bank of the Yarra - I remember specially going to platform 11 to just stare at its changing colours and signs for ages.
