Wagging time off work
Another memory from a nice little early morning chase back in August 1987. I think my employer was very understanding, and coming in a couple of hours late was OK so long as I let them know and made the time up asap. Australian National's broad gauge ALCo DL531 branchliner no.836 still carries its former South Australian Railway 'mustard pot' livery as it heads a rake of empty OBs near Reedy Creek on the Monarto South to Apamurra branch - 12 August 1987.
