Horse-drawn Fire appliances outside the City fire station in Castlereagh Street, Sydney. The building was completed in Colonial architect James Barnet, designed the facade of Castlereagh Street building in a classical-revival style.

One of several vessels being towed for scrapping they all met their fate by either sinking or foundering on the rocky shore. Kalang started out as a Sydney ferry before being turned into a cruising showboat on the harbour.
