Bahasa Bali word today is: manis, which means sweet. Ok so not my usual flavour of photo from Bali but still Bali. This is a Coke spider - Coke with vanilla ice cream & an amazing chocolate tartlet with toasted marshmallows. Morning tea for my girl @thefatturtlebali Petitenget. My coffee was awesome btw:
Where was I? Do you know where you can get a coffee & quote in Bali? . I was sitting there reading this quote, a tear in my eye as I thought about how much my universe has changed since my daughter came into it. And then she 'chucked a wobbly' (threw a tantrum) and I was jolted back to reality. Yep, kids totally change your universe!! . .
Sunset at The W Hotel, Seminyak. We wandered in & with the help of the pool boy got some drinks & food ordered, before spending several, ultra relaxing hours floating in the pool, waiting for the magnificent sun set.
A deeply spiritual & traditional culture is alive & well in Bali. In almost every cafe there is a mini temple where daily offerings are made to the Gods. It's such a beautiful sight watching this deeply respectful & pure ritual. Yet another reason Bali is so beautiful to me.
