Our favourite pool in Bali - the green pool at the Hyatt, Sanur. Many happy hours spent splashing & squealing (my daughter not me!). Currently the rebuild is stalled but I can't wait to see how they have preserved the stunning gardens & pool when it finally reopens.
Traditional fishing boats are known as Jukungs in Bali. These brightly painted boats can be seen all over the islands coast. The Balinese people are deeply superstitious so even to this day their boats are made with fierce, bulging eyes like a Gajah Mina (Elephant fish) to ward off evil. Can you see the Gajah Mina resemblance? I can for sure!!
Family trips are the best! I've taken over photos in Bali over the years & so many feature the loves of my life: my husband, my daughter. And, funnily enough, many are of them walking ahead of me as I take my photos!
Oh bless my daughter! I just went through the photos on her phone of our recent trip (she's no breach of privacy I promise). Here is a fab shot she took, of the dog, but also the morning sky, jukung & Mt Agung!
