plaηts - hellebσres

Commonly known as hellebores, members of the Eurasian genus Helleborus comprise approximately 20 species of herbaceous or evergreen perennial flowering plants in the family Ranunculaceae, within which it gave its name to the tribe of Helleboreae. Many species are poisonous, also despite names such as Winter Rose & Christmas rose, they're not closely related to the rose family. They're widely grown in gardens for decorative purposes &the plants are surprisingly frost-resistant &many are evergreen.
