This is the first fondant cake I made. My Wedding Cake. It was the traditional fruit cake using an old family recipe. I made the pattern by using tiling spacers glued on a board. The flowers, I put on freshly that morning. I used special glasses my Grandmother gave me to separate the layers.
Christmas work cake 2017
Created these two cakes for Work. The largest apple is 8 cakes and the smaller is gluten free and 2 cakes in volume. The smallest is a real apple.
This was made for a friends birthday. His design. Very happy with the collar and the tricky logos.
The base is fruit cake with marzipan and fondant. The stall is vanilla cake and the cap is chocolate. Both coated with white icing ganache and fondant.
