Port River, Adelaide, Australia~ A wild dolphin in Adelaide has been teaching other wild dolphins the art of ‘tailwalking', a behaviour which is extremely rare in the wild. There are 37 different species of dolphins around the world.
The Crimson Rosella (Platycercus elegans) is a parrot native to eastern and south eastern Australia which has been introduced to New Zealand and Norfolk Island. It is commonly found in, but not restricted to, mountain forests and gardens.
The Blue Lake, Mount Gambier. From November till April the cobalt blue of the water seen here is, amazingly, the actual colour of this stunning South Australian Volcanic Lake. For the remaining months of the year the water is a steel grey colour.
