Tallangatta is a small township that was relocated due to the expansion of the Hume Dam in the 1950's. It is one of the most intact relocated towns in Australia and is home to a significant collection of mid-century buildings. In 2018 Regional Design Service was engaged to assist property owners to revitalise their shopfront and in turn celebrate the unique architecture of the town. This is a series of historic shopfronts revitalised with bright dulux heritage paints.
