CONFIRMED damaging tornado at 1 pm in Bargara, Queensland Australia near the Bundaberg area, and another tornado in Bargara area at 3 pm.    Tornadoes are likely through today and tonight between Brisbane and Gladstone as bands of convection with Ex Tropical Cyclone stream onshore.    The tornado threat will shift slowly south with time as the cyclone drifts southward, along with flooding rains in the same area.

“Burnett River Bundaberg continues to rise slowly.

Residents clean up debris in their street as parts of southern Queensland experiences record flooding in the wake of Tropical Cyclone Oswald on January 30, 2013 in Bundaberg, Australia. Flood waters peaked at 9.53 metres in Bundaberg yesterday and began receding overnight, as residents and relief teams prepare to clean-up debris. Four deaths have been confirmed in the Queensland floods and the search is on for two men though to be missing in floodaters in Gatton.
