LORD RIPON moored at Woolloomooloo Bay The Lord Ripon was a four-masted steel barque, bilt 1892 by Grangemouth Dockyard Co., Alloa for J. Herron & Co., Liverpool. She sold 1898 to Rhederei Visurgis AG, Bremen, and was renamed Nal. In 1922 the Nal sprang a leak and was abandoned off Cape Horn and sunk near Wollaton Island. The crew was saved.
