NATIVE EVERLASTING DAISY
The most willing of native wildflowers to spread their seeds far and wide from west to east coast. Easy to germinate and naturalise. Everlasting paper-like flowers dry well but its the excess of pinkish shades of a mass sowing - where it is unforgetable. Our famous everlasting mix. Sufficient seed for 5 square metres.
I love Gum Blossoms. Whenever I see them they bring back the childhood memories of my favorite book "Snugglepot & Cuddlepie" by May Gibbs which I still have sitting in my bookshelf. The illustrations were so amazing and had a real Australian feel to them. My mother also had a May Gibbs book when she was a child, she in turn handed it on to me, it also sits in my bookshelf (although a little worse for wear)

With a 60mm body and a leg span of 160mm, this spider is nearly as large as a man's hand.
