Since 1997, AECOM has contributed to a multitude of projects associated with the Stapleton Redevelopment and has led an interdisciplinary team to produce architecture and landscape design guidelines, a major urban park and greenway masterplan and a light rail/commuter rail station area plan, transforming Denver's abandoned 4,700-acre Stapleton Airport, the nation's largest urban infill project, into a mixed-use community with 25,000 residents and 30,000 jobs.

In leading the development and testing of this Scheme, AECOM has been working collaboratively with the London Legacy Development Corporation, the ODA Planning Decisions Team, host boroughs and local communities.
