Alexander &CO. | MELBOURNE DESIGN WEEK
For Melbourne Design Week our Principal Jeremy Bull will be part of a Panel Discussion hosted by @articolostudios on ‘What is the Purpose of Timeless Design’. The event will explore the role of nostalgia in design, examining whether revisiting and appreciating past design eras adds excitement to contemporary design discourse. Also up for discussion will be how design reflects societal priorities, aspirations, and values, making it a valuable lens through which to examine cultural narratives.

Alexander House | RESIDENTIAL | "In this Sydney-area live-work space, design studio Alexander &CO. paired a low sofa with a vintage Roche Bobois free-form coffee table that hovers just above the floor. Scored at local Sydney dealer The Vault, the table has a pink tone and kidney shape that fit organically within the house," - By writer Hannah Martin for @archdigest

Alexander House | RESIDENTIAL | This is one of three bathrooms within Alexander House and is located on the top floor of our loft. We experimented with concrete and floor to ceiling flesh-like pink marble Rosso Crema Tiles from Teranova Tiles to remind the user of the visceral nature of the experience of self-care. Pictured here is the steam shower which provides our team with a calming zone and a space to recharge in.

Alexander House | RESIDENTIAL | Principal Jeremy Bull speaks to our HQ, "Alexander House is a scale study. We aimed to bring bigness into this otherwise small footprint building. The void does much of the work for the middle levels, becoming an illuminated volume with celestial highlight glass and a reclaimed wooded ceiling. The Concrete Bespoke kitchen bench is the visual centre piece and a custom brass ‘bird’ pendent hovers over."
