Spencer Street East between Little Collins and Collins Streets, Melbourne 1967

HISTORY: Spencer Street East, between Little Collins and Collins Streets, Melbourne: 1967

Before #southerncrossstation ... Spencer Street Station in 1946. A report in The Argus that year described the building as a "cattleshed, with its decayed windmill tower. This appalling survival of the bad old days completely ruins one end of the street. You cannot have a fine city without fine vistas".
