The second coral was a rock with numerous morphs all over it. By day they are shades of blue and green. But at night under the blue lights they show up yellow. Its quite amazing how different the tank can look during the day compared to night. I will take a photo tonight to show the colour difference.
A few days later the bi-colour dottyback arrived. This little fish is the complete opposite of Homer and full of colour. Apparently this is the poor mans version, half yellow half purple. The rich man can afford one completely purple all over. To be honest I preferred the half 'n' half version so home he come.
Next I added a lawnmower blenny. This guy is one of the ugliest marine fish out there. Absolutely no colour and a face only a mother could love. I named him Homer. But he does do a marvellous job at cleaning algae. Due to being a new tank build there are times of algae blooms and Homer helps keep that in check.
