Carrot cake porridge for me and the kids this morning, made in the Thermomix: blitzed up two carrots, added ground pecans, vanilla, cinnamon, ground ginger, oats, milk of choice & water (using the EDC porridge recipe as a basis for those who have a Thermie). Topped with kefir and candied pecans (a few pecans toasted with a little rice malt syrup). The porridge needed no sweetener, thanks to the sweetness of the carrots and cinnamon. But I made this sweetener-free granola using what I had for the @eatdrinkblogau breakfast cereal photo comp, and enjoyed eating the end product so much I had to share anyway! Zoodles (I use a combination of mostly zucchini noodles with some angel hair spaghetti mixed through), @iquitsugar basil and spinach pesto from the #IQS8WP, baby spinach, cherry toms, cucumber, avo, hot-smoked salmon and topped off with fetta and fried capers. Lots of veggies and good fats in this one!
