The Warburton/ Healesville combined E-train - a VR classic
The VR's combined Warburton+Healesville and Stony Point+Mornington (until passenger services ended) E-trains were truly legendary. Two 1880's Swing Door electric motors hauled a motley crew of country carriages on services that ran express for much of their journeys (Richmond to Ringwood with a stop at Box Hill; Richmond to Frankston with a stop at Caulfield).
