I Love timber decks...this one is stunning with it's white high raked ceiling and fan gives it that lovely sense of relaxation and coolness. We are building a large timber deck off the back of our house at the moment. It overlooks the backyard and vacant land to our right, as well as soaking up the lights of Toowoomba at night. The breezes are lovely too, and we can't wait to put it to good use!

Maybe cathedral for deck and high, raked ceiling inside with beam across room between kitchen and living area.

These immaculately restored and richly detailed twin Victorian Filigree terrace houses - Falkirk and Helensburgh - were completed in 1887 and are a highlight of South Melbourne's Nelson Road. The detail in the parapets and iron lace work is immaculate.
