Gum Blossoms
I love Gum Blossoms. Whenever I see them they bring back the childhood memories of my favorite book "Snugglepot & Cuddlepie" by May Gibbs which I still have sitting in my bookshelf. My mother also had a May Gibbs book when she was a child, she in turn handed it on to me, it also sits in my bookshelf (although a little worse for wear)

This map came from the Australian Government’s atlas which is full of different historical and physical maps. Australian was first discovered in 1606 but wasn’t colonized until 1788. Around the time of this map, 1836, the states were beginning to appear as separate colonies and the Aborigine populations began to decline.
