FOR as long as she has worn the red and blue of the Sydney and NSW Swifts, goal shooter Susan Pratley has stood in the shadow of Catherine Cox. But with Cox now at West Coast, Pratley, 28, will lead the Swifts' attack today when they begin their season against the Thunderbirds in Adelaide. Pratley finally gets chance to lead from front

Australian netball captain Natalie von Bertouch has found herself in an unusual position.    Sidelined with a foot injury since leading Australia to the title at the world netball championship in Singapore last July, von Bertouch is feeling strangely nervous.

ADNA netballers Harriet Raleigh (NEGS), Gabbie Holmes (PLC), Claire McCarthy (VIP) and Rachael Kee were successful in gaining selection and have headed off for an action packed week of sport. The girls will get the opportunity to play against  some of the best netballers NSW has to offer and really step up and test themselves. NIAS has quite a young side representing this year.  They an exciting game against North Coast on Friday holding equal all game, only going down in the last 5 minutes.
