Assetlink has recently become a host organisation for the University of Wollongong’s Business Internship Program. We are delighted to welcome our first intern for 2015 a HR and Marketing student. During the eight week internship, she will work on gender diversity projects, key metrics, and recruitment, onboarding and welfare initiatives. It’s a win-win, as students gain the experience they need and the Company benefits from fresh ideas and perspectives.

Assetlink launched Community Link last year - giving our people the opportunity to make a difference to a cause that matters to them. This wonderful program has been rolled out through Corporate Citizen our fantastic giving partners. Already the tally is sitting at over $8,000 raised over the next year - what an amazing start to our Community Link program! At Assetlink, we embrace the fact that so many of us don't speak English as a first language. Sometimes it can be difficult for team members to understand the information we provide. We're proud to announce that we are now bridging this communication gap by bringing our team members a quick and easy translation service on our intranet - iLink. People need to simply select their language from the drop-down menu on the top menu, and iLink will translate the entire site for them!
In the lead up to the Christmas rush, Highpoint Shopping Centre increased their security presence, and received an early Christmas present with the roll out a new Assetlink security uniform, as well as taking possession of a brand new Guest Services Vehicle.This uniform has been created to facilitate all Security uniform requirements nationally where the client branded uniform is not in use.
During the busy Christmas rush, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre Team Member Jason Peel was called to Customer Service to meet with a customer who had misplaced a highly valued recent purchase; a gold engagement ring that they intended on proposing to their long term partner with that very evening.After searching a number of bins and still no sign of the ring, Jason stumbled upon a small jewellery box nestled amongst remnants that matched the customer’s description – the ring had been found!
