Gnomish Attempts at Sculpting
Sculpting eyes This brings me back to first semester figure modelling, except it was all clay (soldate 60 to be precise) we had to sculpt parts of the nose and brow bone. I got a "C" -____- ...but I'd get an "A" now!!! I've come a long way since then and the standards at Academy of Art are really high and the curriculum is intensive. Some of our second semester students are better than most MFA graduates of other schools.

Handles are fimo soft with a rigid metallic stick inside them, and tips are sculpey moldmaker, really flexible after curing. I cured the handles first, cause each clay has a different curing timing. I applied a bit of liquid fimo into the holes where the the tips are to ensure they were well fixed with the clay so they won't fall off when used.
