Saw Aradale sitting on the hill just outside Ararat, victoria Australia. I knew it was an old psych hospital, I always do, They have a certain feel. My friend & I decided to go on a tour they had after reading about its history. In the middle of the tour we went into the courtyard & I had the sense of being watched. After looking back at my pbotos the next day, this caught my eye.

Collingwood College Doll’s House The Doll’s House is one of the most fascinating — and perhaps smallest — house in Victoria. Built in the 1880s, the tiny house is only two rooms and 2.5 metres wide. This place is smaller than a modern studio flat and once housed a family of five people — with the final residents moving out of the place in 1978. The tiny gem shows the living conditions of slum dwellers before Melbourne’s strict building and planning controls were put in place.

HAVE you ever wanted to look inside an explosives storage facility or take a ride in a boat among the giant cargo ships in Melbourne’s port?

Collingwood students step back in time through restoration of campus ‘doll’s house’

IT IS known as the Dolls House and for the students of Collingwood College, its current custodians, it has brought local history to life.
