In most off her poems Dorothea would talk about how she loves a sunburn country, meaning she is using the technique 'Theme' and 'Colour' so see can describe our landmark and colour, landmark such as Uluru Outbacks. Ryan and me really enjoyed doing these tasks and we recon Dorothea is a really good poetry artist.

In the old days Dorothea used to dream of becoming a Australian superstar, but she didn't want to be that famous, so she became a poetry artist. She started at age 15 and loved writing poems that when she then published her famous published poem 'my country' with took peoples hearts away. Dorothea and her parents live in Sydney and her grandmother came from Scotland to congratulate Dorothea on her Carrier.

Ryan carder- The poem i chose from Dorothea Mackellar was 'Australian men'. Australian men was a poem i enjoyed annotating for her. My paragraphs i had were describing her techniques and how she used them. I also enjoyed working with Fred in benchmark one talking about her life story and what she did and when she begun becoming a person who writes poems.

“An Opal hearted country a wilful lavish land, all those who have not loved her you will not understand.

Fred Bou-Francis- I choose my country because 'my country' is her biggest poet that she wrote and published. After i annotated and wrote 2 structured paragraphs of her poet, I am very interested on her life story and how she begun being a person who writes poems.
