Home Made Turkish Delight. I searched for a recipe and modified it by cutting back the sugar and adding slithered almonds and whole raw pistachios. My good friend compared it to the Turkish delight they had while in Turkey and commented that it was very authentic, not too sweet, you can taste the rose water combined with the nuttiness of the almonds and pistachios.
This is tonight's dinner. Mediterranean style, eye fillet encrusted in a mix of spices and oregano. Roasted medium rare, with a jus reduction, topped with anchovies, served with a side or herbs, home pickled olives in red wine vinegar and olive oil.
