Archibald Prize Sulman 2013 finalist: The fatal shore by Jasper Knight.Medium: perspex and plywood on board and marine grade enamel paint. This work depicts a working crane in Port Botany Sydney. The title "the fatal shore" not only relates to the Robert Hughes book of 1987 but also references the location of this work, Botany Bay, the founding place of European Australia.
