So I really was going to post only once a day, but then I saw this little watercolor...consider it a bonus! The names of the amateur artists who painted this watercolor are now lost, but what amazing detail (and peculiar perspective) they recorded: the paintings on the wall, the inkstand with the candle in the center, the carpet and the drapery at the window, the many-folded letter on the table, even the little cat happily sitting before the grate.
