These Vanilla Bean Shortbreads by @coco_and_chili are pure perfection! Filled with Lemon Curd & Butter Cream, and made with our own sweet vanilla bean shortcrust pastry, they’re almost too pretty to eat! Hint: you can make delicious shortbread biscuits with our shortcrust pastry simply by cutting out your desired shapes, placing them onto a lined baking tray & baking for 10 -12 minutes on 180c. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Tip: they make great ice cream sandwiches!!

Struggling with what to cook for Sunday dinner? Here’s a great idea by @foodbyjessica: Simply take a sheet of Careme Puff Pastry pressing it into a small baking tray (or cake tin). Fill it with shredded leftover/sad looking vegetables; crack in a few eggs; fold over edges and then bake for 30 min @ 200C. Sprinkle with finely chopped rainbow chard stalks, parsley and drizzle with salt, pepper and a squeeze of lemon. Dinner done! #wastefree #vegtart #savourytart

Ingredients Careme Spelt Puff Pastry 250g smoked salmon 1 Tub of spreadable cream cheese Poppy seeds Fresh chives, snipped 1 egg, beaten Method Unfold the pastry, brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Spread pastry with cream cheese, top with smoked salmon, chives. Roll tightly then wrap in plastic. Refrigerate for 20 minutes. Bake in a pre-heated oven 180C for 20 minutes or until crisp and golden.
Heirloom Tomato Tart 🍅 Ingredients: 375g Carême Puff Pastry 200g Fresh Mozzarella 4-6 Heirloom tomatoes Sprinkle of fresh thyme S&P Method Preheat oven to 200C, grease and line a tray with baking paper. Bake for 20 min, then reduce oven temp to 180C and bake for further 30 min or until pastry is golden. Remove from oven and sprinkle with basil leaves, drizzle with a little of the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Can be made ahead of time and served at room temperature.

I created cannoncini alla crema for my perfect simple treat - pastry filled with Italian custard cream and dust of icing sugar. At times I have enthusiasm to create homemade puff pastry but others days I’ll buy a good quality version like @caremepastry. I always create homemade custard as I can control flavour and creaminess. I used to watch
