Laughing Kookaburra family in the backyard. Native Australian bird, makes very funny noise. Usually start one and continue at least one more. It is like a few happy people are laughing very load. If you do not know about them the sounds are creepy , you have just not idea what kind of animal is that.

The eastern blue-tongued lizard grows up to 60 cm in length. It usually move like in "slow motions" but can run quite fast. he's very friendly and many times I had the feeling that they are far much smarter than we consider to be. I rescued a baby one and and feed him until he was get mature.

Australian water dragon hunting in backyard. Its very common to be found even in crowded suburbs backyards as long as there are not predators around. Like any lizards it is good to have a few around your house.
