I have very fond memories of my Grandma’s delicious cooking. Getting to go to Grandma’s house was always special, as Grandma lives in Texas (USA, not Queensland!) and we grew up in Australia, so we only got to visit Grandma now and then. Whenever I close my eyes and imagine Grandma, I see her with her apron […]
Chicken pasta sauce with ‘zoodles’ (zucchini noodles) I’ve had a few requests for this simple-but-delicious recipe, (mostly from my friend Sue-Ellen, who won’t stop hassling me!) so here it finally is. 😉 I’ve been a bit absent on my blog for the last couple of weeks due to overwhelmingness of all sorts, but I’m determined […]
My friend Sue-Ellen has kindly given me permission to post this recipe which she converted herself for the Thermomix. It’s really good! I tweaked it a little, steaming and scrambling the eggs with the noodles in the Themomix bowl, instead of separately in a pan – I thought that was pretty cool! Love this […]

The good news is that these gluten free breakfast cookies will please you no matter your viewpoint. These cookies have barely enough sweetness to put them into the "cookie" category, but the sweetness comes from wholesome sources such as bananas, shredded coconut, honey and cranberries that will keep your tummy happy until lunch rolls around. The World's Healthiest Chocolate Chip Cookies
I consider these to be the world's healthiest chocolate chip cookies! They are gluten free, vegan and naturally sweetened with a hint of maple. This recipe is from my cookbook Purely Delicious, and they are so simple to make. The secret to making them so irresistible is to use good quality dark eating chocolate, and a pinch of salt to bring out the flavour. I always double or even triple the recipe because they never last long!

Here is my delicious lemon and yoghurt cupcake recipe. Almonds are loaded with protein + good anti-inflamatory fats that help promote health. Eggs are a great source of protein that can promote a healthy immune system. The addition of lemon helps to activate the bicarb, that makes them rise + yoghurt gives these cupcakes a wonderful flavour. 3 cups (300 g / 10 ½ oz) almond meal ½ teaspoon baking soda 2 organic eggs juice and zest from 1 lemon ½ cup (180 g / 6 ¼ oz) raw honey 1 teaspoon…
Flourless Chocolate Cupcakes
These guilt free chocolate cupcakes are loaded with all things wholesome and good. They take just a few minutes to make and are the perfect indulgent treat when that mid afternoon chocolate craving hits. I've used almond meal in this recipe which makes these cupcakes gluten free and deliciously moist. Using olive oil or macadamia nut oil adds a lovely flavour that compliments the cocoa and they are both rich in good heart healthy monounsaturated fats. Serve as they are or dollop them with…
