Another view of Echium wild pretii. These are some of the best specimens I have seen in the US of coarse outside of Cornwall where I first spotted a variety in Blue color which is usually seen in California but of  less stature .I have yet to have success from seed but will keep on trying.  A native of Madeira, Portugal, these are growing like weeds in Cornwall.  My 5B location will keep them obviously in the conservatory.   ( Marion Brenner's garden Berkeley Ca. )
