South of Swansea (Tasmania) there are a number of little beaches just by the side of the Tasman Highway. Just near Spiky Bridge is Spiky Beach with views overlooking Great Oyster Bay and the Freycinet National Park.

A few dark clouds, some rain and then the sun came out, all in the space of a few minutes. But from the ninth floor of a building overlooking Hyde Park, a photo opportunity not to be missed.

Mt. Field National Park, about an hour from Hobart (Tasmania) and is popular with locals and tourists alike. Russell Falls is located about 5 minutes easy walk from the car park. If you ever come here, bring a camera. There are plenty of photo opportunities. It’s amazing what you can find just by looking. Here we have a moss covered fallen tree with a new shoot next to the track.
