Big Day Out - Flemington Racecourse. January 26, 2010. Forgot to add this one in earlier. :( Stinking hot day. Got so sunburnt, but hell it was worth it. Eskimo Joe, Bluejuice, Powderfinger in one of their last shows and of course the mind-blowing Muse, plus many more! This was an amazing day out!
Boy & Bear - East Brunswick Club. October 23, 2010. Thinking about it now, probably the defining gig which decided my taste in music. Boy & Bear and The Chemist were amazing, but it was Passenger, opening the show, who blew away everyone that turned up early. Perfoming 'Shape of Love' on the floor with Boy & Bear in front of a crowd of about 50 people who didn't know who he was, Passenger's set was absolutely amazing and he has probably become my favourite musician since.
Birds of Tokyo - Festival Hall. October 1, 2010. Preferred the Palace Theatre gig over this one. Don't know, maybe it's just because I was completely drunk the other time :P Silversun Pickups were really good to watch live and it was great to see The Chemist on a big stage :D
Boy & Bear - Northcote Social Club, June 5, 2010. Once again travelled to Northcote Social Club to see The Chemist in support, but were absolutely blown away by Boy & Bear. Launching their debut EP and with only 1 song released, B & B were in their very early stages, and have grown into a multiple ARIA award winning band today.
Old Man River - Northcote Social Club. May Went here to see the Chemist, who we were really enjoying listening to and saw plenty of times. Really enjoyed Old Man River also, plenty of songs that we didn't know were performed by them!
