HMVS Cerberus (Her Majesty's Victorian Ship) is a breastwork monitor that served in the Victoria Naval Forces, the Commonwealth Naval Forces (CNF), and the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) between 1871 and 1924. In 2001, the Friends of the Cerberus organization was formed, with the goal of preserving Cerberus. Funding to remove the four 18-ton guns from the monitor. After being coated with preservative and receiving an electrolysis treatment.
