There are many, many diamond cut shapes available in engagement rings. Over the years, these diamond cuts have been improved and modified with the advent of better technology and cutter's understanding of light refraction.
Ever wondered what the back of a diamond looks like...this is a round brilliant cut, the pointed end you almost never see when the diamond is set...very sharp...you could do some damage with that. If you hit it with a hammer ( not suggesting you do ) it would leave a dent in the hammer - now that is tough stuff !
Often overlooked as an option is the "Light champagne" colour #diamond. It's worth considering when you think how this can be over 1.00 ct. and yet only cost a fraction of the price of a white diamond. I still think you need the right design to make it a real feature! It's not really a #solitaire type of rock.
#Diamonds can be in many colours. The rarest, of course, are the most costly. Thought I would share this image with you-- "Fancy Intense Blue." Well, it's not mine, but one can dream of the potential. Crazy what nature can produce and crazy the price people put on it. Don't ask... it's off the scale. #rings #engagement #wedding #jewellery #melbourne
