Raised bed/planter/fence/privacy screen - this is a conglomeration of several items I saw in magazines and catalogs. I plan on building lots of these to use as planters. Add a lid for storage, composting, extra seating. Or a sloped cold frame lid to garden in cooler weather. This one is 64" high, but I plan on making some at 48" and 32" too. I used 1x4x8 cedar boards and deck screws. I'll probably add some hooks and shelves too - the possibilities seem endless!

Raised bed/planter/fence/privacy screen: this is now featured at www. with complete instructions for building a planter with a back You can get a PDF too. Please vote for me in the Outdoor Structures contest. - My Wonder Garden
