Webb Bridge at The Blue Hour
Docklands, Melbourne, Victoria View On Black Last night I returned to Webb Bridge at just the right moment after sunset; the photographer's favourite "Blue Hour". But I had to be quick, as the best part of the Blue Hour only lasted about 15 mins before the clouds blew in. Between hoards of Christmas party revellers and cyclists, I snapped a few 10 second exposures. I'm very happy with the result. Merry Christmas to you all!

Captain Cook's Cottage, Fitzroy Gardens, Melbourne, Australia. The cottage was originally built in Yorkshire, England. The English explorer and navigator Captain James cook landed in Botany Bay in 1770, but the cottage got to Melbourne in 1934 when it was shipped from England. Originally the cottage stood at Great Ayton, North Yorkshire. It was built by Cook's father in 1775. Half British/Australian

Grasmere - Parkville
Grasmere is another fine example of the extravagant 1880's Victorian Filigree architecture located on Royal Parade in the Melbourne suburb of Parkville. The facade features decorative head and floral mouldings with an impressive parapet and cast iron lace work.
