Brisbane Girls Grammar at Wickham Terrace 1875. The house on Wickham Terrace was owned by the Hon John Douglas, a Grammar School Trustee. The house was a shuttered single storied wooden building, described as having a wide hallway, with two large rooms either side. Wide latticed front and side verandahs and a wide back verhandah leading to two large wings.
