Not since I read 'By Reason of Insanity' over 30 years ago have I truly been disturbed by another book...Eric Shelman did it!!! I was horrified to the point of losing sleep. To me there is nothing scarier than a psycho, except maybe a reanimated psycho... I could barely put this book down, and when I did i couldn't stop thinking about it. Eric is not afraid to let his imagination run wild, let alone put it into words to keep his readers up at night!!!

It's about witches ... this one. From a reader: "This novel has a deep and complex arrangement of past, not so past and present which is carried off very smoothly by the author. The characters within are realistic and likeable so you really feel for them throughout the story. The plot lines throughout are clever and the twists keep coming without loosing you as the reader."

I just finished this book right this minute. The first thing I said was "Oh my God, that was so freaking good!" And it was. Shifting Fears was one of the most amazing books I've ever read. It had me on edge the whole time and I loved the ending. I could see this being made into an incredible movie. I read all of EriC Shelman's Dead Hunger books and wanted to try one of his other books and I'm so glad I did. Hats off to you Eric. Shifting Fears is a winner!

Dave Gammon rides ... from a reader: "I love all the books in this series but boy do I have to say that this may be my favorite. I LOVED getting to know Dave. His story is pretty awesome and I totally enjoyed him. And I really loved Nelson's development. What a great story. It will leave you wanting more. I know I was on the edge of my seat!"

All hell breaks loose in Book #4 ... get on it. From a reader: "Eric Shelman has done it again. He makes a zombie apocalypse totally believable. Same great characters along with some new ones. Dead Hunger IV: Evolution. It is the perfect title to the book. This book has scary evolved zombies. It is filled with lots of twists and discoveries. Awesome job Eric, I can't wait for the next book...road to Cali."

It's Hemp Chatsworth's turn to tell the tale - from a reader: "I love all the Dead Hunger books. Hemp has always been one of my favorite characters because he always comes up with great ideas. Its a great series and I've read them all. If you need a zombie fix you need to read these!"

"Dead Hunger III: The Chatsworth Chronicles" *** Eric A.

This time Gem Cardoza tells the story - Dead Hunger, the second installment. From a reader: "Very interesting and different take. The author has a style you either like or don't. Not much middle ground. He writes hard core with plenty of gritty words. If you can't imagine an 8 years old cussing like a sailor then this might not be for you, but if you not easily offended you will love it. He creates good characters and plot twists with lots of zombie killing fun."
