How do you interact with a person who has a chronic disease that cannot be fixed?

Adrenal Crisis. Inject and call 911.  30 minutes can KILL you. Have an emergency kit of 100mg Solu-Cortef Acto-Vial and at least a 21 or 25 gauge needle. Some emts and paramedics won't look at your medical id and have no clue as to what a crisis is or what adrenal insufficiency is. Each person presents differently. Be prepared. Take your kit with you. Take extra meds with you. Have a family member or friend give you the injection and be your advocate if you are unable.
