The Inn at Jackson Jackson, New Hampshire - The inn was built in 1902 as the summer home of Kate Corinne Baldwin, of Baldwin piano fame. It is believed to be haunted by a ghost some call Jason. Unexplained glowing lights are said to appear and disappear here.
Dwight Hamilton Baldwin. An American piano manufacturer famous as the eponym and introducer of the Baldwin Piano. Baldwin began his career as a teacher of the reed organ and violin. He opened a music store in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1862, and became one of the biggest sellers of pianos in the Midwest. Along with invetor John Warren Macy, Baldwin created the first Baldwin piano in 1891, and introduced a grand piano in 1895. Cousin through birthfather's maternal line.
