I like my whole group clip chart, but I wonder if this would help a kid who is really struggling with behavior, to have his/her own. Or maybe a black and white copy of it that they can color in where they are at. It could have four copies of the chart too

Unobtrusive behaviour management strategy - Each student gets a chip which starts on yellow, when they are talking or off task silently flip their chip to red as a warning. The next step, remove their chip, third strike is a consequence of your choice.

Every kid gets a yellow counter on desk. Flip to red is a warning. Second reminder, take counter up (and consequence). Could add kids' names or initials to counter to help organization. All back to yellow for next class segment!
