Civil Rights Memorial - is a memorial in Montgomery, Alabama to 40 people who died in the struggle for the equal and integrated treatment of all people, regardless of race, during the Civil Rights Movement in the United States. Designed by Maya Lin.
Viola Liuzzo was murdered on March 1965 after the Selma-to-Montgomery Civil Rights March. She was a civil rights activist from Michigan. She is the only white woman honored at the Montgomery Civil Rights Memorial.
