We have talked about making social contracts in TEFB 371 and I have seen them in so many classrooms. Especially for a younger grade!

Your Job -vs- My Job: This is a great back to school activity.  We met up at the small group table and discussed jobs that students might have, and the jobs a teacher has to do. We discussed what would happen if we didn't do these things? Once we created our anchor chart we all signed it as a contract reminding ourselves of the importance of being responsible and doing our jobs in the classroom.

Trace children's hands and frame their contract. Kiddos sign their name on their print. For extra pizzazz, when school pix come back, copy, cut & glue one to their hand.

behavior management idea... i could rework this to make this work for middle school

The Behavior Alert shows the rules that were broken, and the students, as well as their parents, need to sign this. This is a great way for the parents to track their children's behavior and the teachers can also alert the parents if there are issues.
