READING PROCESS: HOW YOU SAY IT GAME (R) I love fun ways to interact with your children, especially when they provide wonderful teaching moments. This game helps to teach tone of voice and body language as well as how it affects others’ feelings.
I could use this activity as an ice breaker for the first week of school or as a classroom community builder. I could have the students sit in a circle or break them up into small groups and work on the ice breaker together.
Listening - Even though this says listening game for adults, I think it would be great for the elementary classroom as well. It gives students the opportunity to strengthen listening skills as well as cooperation skills, plus it would be fun!
