Earwig Trap, I finally found an easy, cheap, natural way of getting rid of the pesky earwigs that have been eating all my flowers & veggies.  Use a low-sided can, such as tuna fish can and fill 1/3 full of vegetable oil. Place the can where the earwigs are a problem. The oil attracts them and it doesn't allow them to crawl back out and they drowned.  Give it a few days and you'll be amazed at how many dead earwigs are in the can. It's better than using chemicals!

A low-sided can, such as cat food or tuna fish can, with inch of oil in the bottom makes an excellent trap. Fish oil (like tuna fish oil) is very attractive to earwigs or vegetable oil with a drop of bacon grease can be used.
