Villa E 1027 -  Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, sur la Côte d’Azur face à Monaco que l'Irlandaise Eileen Gray débute la construction d'une villa en 1926, destinée à son compagnon l’architecte et critique d'art Jean Badovici. « E pour Eileen, 10 du J de Jean, 2 du B de Badovici, 7 du G de Gray », le nom de la villa imbrique leurs initiales. Pourtant, les amants n'y vécurent pas longtemps ensemble, se séparant en 1932. Jean Badovici restera propriétaire de la Villa jusqu'à sa mort en 1956.
