This might work ok, like it better for you than oatmeal can *1 because it is not an oatmeal can and *2 because most of baby girl's headbands are soft, not farmed headbands.

Kersie's headbands were getting out of control!!!!  I hung papertowel holders from the dollar store and then hotglued fabric on a roll of papertowels. I've seen fancier ones, but mine were super inexpensive! :0)

DIY Headband Holder  from: makoodle.com  You could also use contact paper or scrapbooking paper to cover the oatmeal container. Then, use scraps of fabric, ribbons and buttons to decorate!

DIY Headband Holder - Makoodle - I did this and it's awesome! I wrapped in a patterned duck tape, left the top and bottom plain. It looks darling on my dresser, I plan to make another :)
