Today, on Indigenous Peoples Day, we should all recognize our roles in promoting respect for and the inherent rights of indigenous peoples. It is urgent, now and always, that we stand with those who have been overlooked, oppressed and underrepresented. You are seen and heard, and we hope to continue to learn from you.
Students will love practicing Aboriginal Dot painting techniques as part of a study for Indigenous Peoples' Day. Students will research dot paintings, identify common themes, and use paint pens to complete a 'traditional' painting.
